Who's on the Fringe?

A new fall fashion trend is in town, and at the risk of sounding cliche, I have completely “fallen” for it. Fringe is appearing in fall collections all across the fashion market, from Shein to Ralph Lauren.
As we speak, my virtual shopping carts are overflowing with everything camel-colored and suede with fringe. My fall fashion addiction wants me to create an entire suede capsule collection, but my wallet does not. If I were to create a capsule collection for this fall, it would be giving cowboy maximalist. Honestly, if I could only choose one aesthetic for the rest of my life, that would be it.
To me, fringe is unique. Other maximalist embellishments are too loud to achieve fringe’s goal. Studs are too rock star. Animal print is too party girl. Lace is too sexy. But, fringe is the optimal combination of free spirit and fashion model. It says “I’m open to adventure after I strut off the catwalk.” It's elevated adventure. It is badass and Barbie vibes at the same time.
Fringe can be worn in almost every setting, and blend in with almost any vibe. A fringe purse is chic. Slinging a fringe bag while strutting down the streets of Soho is a sure-fire way to be deemed an It Girl. Heeled, suede boots will elevate any cozy fall outfit. And, a suede jacket is a power move. If you need a destination outfit, like for a concert, a fringe jacket is your best friend.
It’s safe to say that fringe is not on the fringe this fall. We’re all about to binge on fringe.
